British Nigerian, Emmanuel Imani, is preparing for his first Hollywood feature movie with the likes of Oscar winners, Tommy Lee Jones and Kevin Costner.
The action thriller called ‘Criminal’ will also star Gary Oldman a BAFTA Award winner, who plays an ex-convict who’s brain is embedded with a dead CIA agent’s memory in order to execute a mission.
Emmanuel began his career in 2013 with his debut appearance in the play; “A Thousand Miles of History”. His first feature movie was in 2014 called ‘Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit’ where he starred alongside Keira Knightley and Chris Pine.
Aside from succeeding in diaspora, the young actor will be going back to his roots where he will be starring in the play ‘Oliver Tweest’, as part of the Lagos Theatre Festival. The play was inspired by D’banj’s 2012 hit song ‘Oliver Twist’, and was first showcased in 2013 at the Hackney Empire, London.
We wish Emmanuel every success with ‘Criminal’ and his career moving forward.
