The Thomson Foundation Young Journalist Award, in partnership with the UK Press Foreign Association, is dedicated to finding ambitious young journalists from across the globe.
Judges of the award look for stories that are revelatory, prompt public debate and have led to, or have the potential to leave to, positive change in society.
- 30 years of age or under on 20th November 2017, and from a country with Gross National Income (GNI) per capita of less than $20,000.
- Must have three published or broadcast piece of which which were produced in the 12months preceding 18th August 2017
